Construction on My Way Komodo Sail began in Dec 2024 and was completed in June 2025. My Way Komodo Sail strives to address several pieces of feedback received from guests and partners, including plastic waste. To that end, My Way Komodo Sail provides refillable tumblers for each guest to take with them during their on-land activities. This helps reduce the use of plastic water bottles on board and on the island, and the tumblers can be taken home by each guest as souvenirs from Komodo Island. It may not seem like a big deal, but My Way Komodo Sail management believes that small things can have a positive impact on nature and the environment.
Sailing carries high risks, including unpredictable sea and weather conditions, so complete safety equipment is crucial. My Way Komodo Sail strives to provide every safety element, even the smallest ones. While this completeness doesn't always guarantee an accident, having the right safety equipment will minimize the risk if something untoward happens.
Based on our experience and some feedback from partners and previous guests, My Way Komodo Sail strives to provide an unforgettable experience during guests' visits to the Komodo Islands and during their stay with My Way Komodo Sail by paying attention to every facility expected for comfort and always prioritizing safety and maintaining environmental balance. My Way Komodo Sail will not be able to accommodate every input perfectly, especially with all the limitations and challenges that exist on the island, but My Way Komodo Sail tries one by one to the best of its ability.
